Community Awareness

The purpose of the this ministry is to help people in the community understand who we are and learn more about us. Specifically, we would like people to know we are a caring Christian church with many common features shared with other faith groups. We will give people multiple opportunities to visit our church and explore our various ministries.

Community Needs

The purpose of this ministry is to connect with the people of the community at the point of their need leaving a lasting impression in the name of Jesus. We will learn about specific needs in the community and meet those need to the best of our ability in a practical manner. We will involve as many members of our church as possible to reach out to the community.

Health and Temperance

The Health and Temperance Department acknowledges God, the creator of our bodies, as Master Physician and Wonderful Counselor. Therefore, the purpose of this ministry is to share with people His methods of healing and health preservation and to assist those who desire to live a more abundant life, physically and mentally.

Men's Ministries

This group exists to minister to the men in our church and in our community treating the mind, body and spirit as a whole. In this endeavor, we will model Biblical roles of men and empower younger men for service.

Personal Ministries

This group exists to involve all members inpersonal ministries by daily interacting with people and engaging them in spiritual conversation. We will look for opportunities to help others understand that there is a loving God that cares about them. We also want to show our care and concern for the well-being of others. In this way we hope to disciple others to spread the gospel.

Sabbath School

The purpose of the Delaware Seventh-day Adventist Sabbath School Department is to engage people in life applicable Bible study and as much as possible taylor studies to the needs of each group. Leaders will vary tools and resources to keep information current and interesting. We will encourage participation of class members and re-evaluate program to reach out to as many individuals as possible.

Small Group Ministries

We exist to grow the Kingdom of God in our communities. We will encourage people to start discovery groups that make the Bible relevant and come alive in our daily lives. We will seek God's guidance and follow His will in developing discovery groups by spending time in prayer and asking God to lead.

Women's Ministries

The purpose of this group is to meet the needs of

women in our church and in our community. We want to form lasting friendships while studying what God wants us to accomplish as women.

Worship Committee

The purpose of this group is to create an atmosphere of acceptance and promote a sense of belongingness for all within the worship service. We will provide an opportunity for people to use their talents and gifts to express themselves in the love and praise of God.

"The change in human hearts, the transformation of human characters, is a miracle that reveals an ever-living Saviour, working to rescue souls. A consistent life in Christ is a great miracle. In the preaching of the word of God, the sign that should be manifest now and always is the presence of the Holy Spirit, to make the word a regenerating power to those that hear. This is God's witness before the world to the divine mission of His Son."

Youth Ministries

The purpose of the Delaware department of Youth Ministries is to introduce the love of Christ to the Delaware youth, and to encourage the building of lasting relationships. We wil do this by meeting the needs of the youth through the services we offer, and affording them multiple leadership and ministry opportunities.
